Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort offers 3 outstanding golf courses, each one distinctively different and uniquely appealing.
Robert Trent Jones Course, the oldest course on the resort was named South Carolina’s “Golf Course of the Year” in 2017. Golfers not only look forward to wide fairways, expansive greens and subtle elevation changes but also a new lake and bunkers that have been reshaped and restored to Jones’ original design. Other notable features include the par-five 10th hole, one of the only two oceanfront holes on all of Hilton Head Island.

Arthur Hills Course Arthur Hills took full advantage of the Lowcountry’s dramatic coastal beauty when he designed this award-winning course. This shot-maker’s favorite offers continuous lines of dunes, a rolling layout, numerous water hazards and thick stands of palmettos. The picture-perfect setting of this mature course stands apart as a time-honored favorite with golfers and attracts dozens of species of birds as well as alligators and deer.

George Fazio Course One of the youngest golf courses to be featured on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Best, the par-70 layout continues to offer stimulating challenges. With only two par 5s, the heart of the course lies in a series of long par 4s, beginning with the 432-yard first hole and ending with the 462-yard 18th.
The tree-lined fairways roll gently on the front nine, while the back nine offers tighter shots that require strategic positioning off the tee. With relatively small greens and undulating surfaces, the Fazio course challenges and delights golfers.
